A reception hall inside Aicha Fahmy Palace (قصر عائشة فهمي) in Zamalek, Cairo, displaying pale green paneled walls with arched niches, elaborate painted murals along the upper frieze, and a parquet wood floor. A crystal chandelier hangs from the ornate ceiling, and visitors are seen exploring the space, which now functions as a cultural and arts venue. The palace is a rare surviving example of early 20th-century Egyptian aristocratic architecture on the Nile corniche in Zamalek.
