Hundreds of male students wearing white turbans (tarha) and traditional galabiyyas stand in organized rows during the morning assembly (tabour) at an Al-Azhar affiliated school in Qena, Upper Egypt. Al-Azhar schools are part of Egypt's oldest Islamic educational institution, providing religious and academic curricula across the country. The outdoor assembly takes place in the school courtyard shaded by mature trees, reflecting the structured daily routine of Azhari education.
