A warm documentary scene featuring three Egyptian farmers dressed in traditional galabeyas and rural caps while deeply focused on playing “Al-Sega” or the 7x7 version known as “Al-Sabaa'awiya.” The game is played on the dusty ground beside a small water canal in a rural Egyptian village, highlighting one of Upper Egypt’s oldest folk games. The image reflects the simplicity of countryside gatherings, where elderly players preserve a cultural tradition built on strategy, patience, and social connection. The atmosphere captures the spirit of rural Egypt and the enduring legacy of traditional community games.
