A vintage red tram, number 801, operates on the Alexandria tram network (Tram el-Madina) at Mustafa Kamil station, one of the oldest urban rail systems in Africa and the Middle East. Passengers wait on a shaded platform alongside a tree-lined track, with Alexandria's mid-rise residential buildings visible in the background. The Alexandria tram network has been in operation since 1863, making it a historic landmark of urban transport in Egypt.
