A documentary-style urban photograph capturing one of Alexandria’s iconic yellow trams moving through the streets of downtown Alexandria during the early morning hours. The scene reflects the calm atmosphere of the coastal city as the tram passes through historic streets lined with old buildings, storefronts, and quiet sidewalks before the crowds fully fill the city. The image highlights one of Egypt’s oldest public transportation systems, deeply connected to Alexandria’s identity and daily life. The soft morning light and nearly empty streets create a nostalgic mood that blends urban heritage with the beginning of a new day in the Mediterranean city.
