Four large patinated bronze church bells mounted on ornate iron frames inside the open brick belfry of Saint George Church (Mar Girgis) in Coptic Cairo. The bells feature decorative relief carvings and are suspended within a structure of exposed brick arches, typical of historic Coptic ecclesiastical architecture in Egypt. Saint George Church is one of the most significant Coptic Orthodox churches in Cairo, located in the ancient Coptic quarter of Misr Al-Qadima (Old Cairo), a district with continuous Christian heritage dating back to the early centuries of Christianity in Egypt.
