Cinema Radio, built in 1932 on Talaat Harb Street in Wust El-Balad (Downtown Cairo), was designed by architects Max Edrei, Garo Balyan, and Victor Salāma. After screenings ceased in the 2000s, the building underwent renovation that introduced a central glass panoramic elevator, decorative mosaic flooring with geometric patterns, and restored commercial frontages now occupied by cafes and retail. Pedestrians walk through the passage at dusk, illustrating the building's transformation into an active mixed-use urban space.
