Several Egyptian 100 pound (Miyet Geneih) banknotes issued by the Central Bank of Egypt (Al-Bank Al-Markazi Al-Masri) fanned out from a brown leather wallet, placed on a light beige surface. The Arabic text on the notes clearly reads 'مئة جنيه' (One Hundred Pounds) along with the Central Bank of Egypt inscription and serial numbers. Egyptian pound banknotes are the official currency of Egypt and are widely used in everyday cash transactions across the country.
