A live performance of El-Leila El-Kebeera (The Big Night), Egypt's iconic puppet theatre show, during the 'Tar Fel Hawa Shashy' (Shashi Flew Away) scene featuring a belly dancer puppet. The stage set displays traditional Egyptian folk-art decorations including arabesque-style painted panels and colorful mashrabeya-inspired backdrops. Puppeteers are visibly operating the characters above the set, captured at the Old Cairo Opera House (Dar El-Opera El-Masreya El-Qadeema).
