A performance still from El-Leila El-Kebeera (The Big Night), the iconic Egyptian puppet show originally created by Saad Ardash, capturing the 'Tar Fel Hawa Shashy' scene featuring colorful hand-operated puppets including a belly dancer character on a vibrant decorated stage set. Puppeteers are visibly working above the puppet theater frame, a characteristic staging style of this celebrated production. The show was performed at the old Egyptian Opera House (Dar Al-Opera Al-Masriya Al-Qadeema) in Cairo.
