A female security officer wearing a hijab and uniform operates a baggage X-ray screening machine at the entrance of Masjid Misr Monorail station in Egypt's New Administrative Capital. The station is part of the East Cairo Monorail (Monorail El Ain El Sokhna), one of Egypt's modern mass transit projects launched to serve the New Administrative Capital. The scene reflects the growing role of Egyptian women in public security and transportation infrastructure roles.
