A fisherman stands barefoot on a small traditional blue wooden boat (felucca-style) pulling a green fishing net from the water at Al-Qanater Al-Khayreya (Al-Khayreya Barrages), Al-Qalyubia, Egypt. The scene captures traditional Nile fishing heritage, with the rippling water and concrete barrage structure visible in the background. Net fishing from small boats remains a common livelihood practice along the Nile Delta waterways in this region.
