A large wooden fishing vessel is seen dry-docked on sandy ground at the Ezbet El Borg (Ezbet El Borg) shipyard in Damietta, Egypt, with its hull freshly painted white above and red antifouling paint below the waterline. Metal scaffolding stands to the left, and the Mediterranean coastline is visible in the background. Ezbet El Borg is one of Egypt's most active traditional shipbuilding centers, where large fishing boats are constructed and maintained by local craftsmen using established woodworking techniques.
