A straight upward (worm's-eye) view of an octagonal glass and wrought-iron skylight dome inside a historic arcade or commercial building near Raml Station (Mahatet El Raml), Alexandria. The geometric spider-web iron framework radiates from a central hub, flanked by weathered stone facades and open windows on all sides, reflecting the city's 19th–early 20th century European-influenced architecture. Alexandria's historic city center contains several such iron-and-glass covered passages, built during the cosmopolitan era of the late Khedival period.
