A fleet of colorful hot air balloons launches simultaneously from the West Bank launch field in Luxor, Egypt, a world-famous tourist activity offering aerial views over the Theban Necropolis and Valley of the Kings. The foreground balloon, operated by a commercial Luxor balloon company, is visibly firing its burner with tourists aboard in a large wicker basket. Ground crew, tourist vans, and palm trees are visible in the background against a partly cloudy morning sky. Luxor's West Bank hot air balloon tourism is one of the oldest and most active balloon operations in the world, running daily at sunrise.
