A fleet of more than fifteen colorful hot air balloons, operated by companies including Level Balloons, Excellent Air Balloon, and Voyager, launch simultaneously from the west bank launch ground in Luxor, Egypt, under a dramatic cloudy sky at dawn. Ground crew and tourists are visible on the sandy terrain as balloons at various stages of inflation and ascent fill the frame. Luxor's west bank is one of the world's most active hot air balloon tourism sites, offering aerial views over the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, and surrounding ancient monuments along the Nile.
