A ground crew member stands next to a large multicolored hot air balloon being inflated on a sandy desert field in Luxor, Egypt, while a second fully inflated balloon rises into a partly cloudy morning sky with passengers in the basket. Several additional balloons are visible in the background mid-flight, indicating an active balloon launch session typical of Luxor's thriving tourism industry. Hot air ballooning over Luxor is one of Egypt's most iconic tourist experiences, offering aerial views of the West Bank archaeological sites including the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple complex.
