Three workers bend and shape iron strips by hand between dry-docked wooden vessels at the naval shipyard near Tabyet Arabi (Arabi Fortress), Ezbet El-Borg, Damietta Governorate, Egypt. The iron strips are prepared for use in reinforcing and repairing the structural frames of traditional wooden boats. Ezbet El-Borg is one of Egypt's most significant centers for traditional wooden shipbuilding, preserving craft techniques passed down through generations.
