The remains of a historic Islamic dome stand on Tel Ibn Salam (Hill of Ibn Salam), a historic archaeological mound in Al-Daqahliya, Egypt, known locally as the old Matariya cemeteries. The site is rare in combining Islamic and Coptic burial traditions, with Islamic and Coptic graves documented within the same historic area.
