A lone pedestrian wearing a face mask walks past the striking black-and-white vertical striped exterior wall of District 5 Mall in Cairo, with the mall's name displayed in large lettering across the facade. The minimalist architectural design and wide empty pavement suggest a quiet daytime scene, likely captured during a period of reduced foot traffic around 2021. District 5 is a modern mixed-use development located in New Cairo, known for its contemporary retail and lifestyle spaces.
