A retail shop front on El Fagala Street in the Azbakeya district, Cairo, with large quantities of back-to-school merchandise stacked in open cardboard boxes on the pavement, including pencil cases in multiple shapes and colors, transparent plastic storage organizers, and school bags with cartoon prints. Customers browse both inside the shop and at the street display, reflecting the high-volume retail activity typical of El Fagala, Cairo's established wholesale and retail hub for stationery, school supplies, and plastic goods. El Fagala sees its busiest trade during the back-to-school season, when shops display goods directly on the street to maximize sales.
