A live shadow puppet show (Khayal Al-Zell) takes place outdoors at night, with silhouetted puppet figures projected onto a large illuminated screen before a crowd of seated spectators. Khayal Al-Zell is one of Egypt's oldest traditional performing arts, historically used to tell folk tales and satirical stories. The event appears to be held in a heritage or cultural venue in Cairo, lit by blue stage lighting.
