A shepherd guides a mixed flock of goats and sheep along the concrete bank of an irrigation canal in the rural countryside of Qena, Upper Egypt, during a summer sunset. A tall date palm tree stands beside dense green sugarcane fields, with its reflection visible in the calm canal water below a warm orange and blue sky. The scene documents a typical daily agricultural routine in rural Upper Egypt, where irrigation canals, livestock herding, and palm trees are defining features of the landscape.
