Two young Egyptian craftsmen work inside a rustic open-air stone workshop, one carving a large circular face relief sculpture and the other shaping stone bowls and pedestals. The dusty workshop floor is covered in stone powder and fiber, with raw stone cliffs visible in the background alongside rows of finished terracotta and stone pottery. This scene documents traditional Egyptian stone carving and handicraft production, a craft with roots dating back to ancient Egypt.
