Two Egyptian working-class men photographed inside a small street workshop on Sharia Al-Ashraf, Sayeda Nafisa, Old Cairo. In the foreground, a makwagi (street ironing worker) sits facing the camera wearing a dark galabiya, while his friend works in the background using a steam iron on brightly colored garments. The makwagi trade is a traditional Egyptian street profession, common in historic Cairo neighborhoods, providing on-demand clothes ironing services to local residents and vendors.
