A young Egyptian boy leans against a stack of car tires outside a roadside tire workshop on Sudan Street (Sharia El Sudan), Cairo, photographed in 2017 during the metro construction closure that disrupted daily commerce in the area. The scene documents candid street life and the presence of working children within Cairo's informal economy. The urban streetscape shows commercial storefronts, pedestrians, and typical street furniture of a busy Cairo neighborhood.
