Three young girls in school uniforms and hijabs walk together along a residential street in Qena, Upper Egypt, each carrying a distinctly colored backpack — teal, pink, and orange. The street is lined with a mix of older stone buildings and newer concrete structures typical of Upper Egyptian towns, photographed in morning light. The image documents everyday school commute in a provincial city in Upper Egypt, suitable for themes of education, childhood, and Egyptian daily life.
