Two fishermen operate a small blue wooden rowing boat (felucca-style) on the river at Al-Qanatir Al-Khayriyya (Al-Qalyubia Barrage area), north of Cairo. One fisherman stands casting a traditional hand fishing net into the water while the other rows and steadies the boat. Al-Qanatir Al-Khayriyya is a historic Nile barrage area and a well-known recreational and fishing destination in the Nile Delta region.
