Two young girls work hands-on at a rotating pottery wheel inside a rustic clay workshop in Egypt, their clothes and hands covered in wet clay. Surrounding them are raw clay vessels, a water bucket used for throwing, and scattered pottery fragments typical of traditional Egyptian Fukhara (فخار) craft workshops. The scene documents child participation in traditional pottery production, a craft with ancient roots in Egypt dating back to pharaonic times.
