Two male craftsmen work side by side in a traditional Egyptian pottery workshop, hand-shaping unfired clay vessels including jars, vases, and decorative pieces arranged across a large worktable. The workshop interior features raw clay dust, stacked mold discs, hexagonal plaster molds, and tools hanging on a weathered wall, reflecting an active artisan production environment. Traditional hand pottery (Fakhkhar) remains a living craft in Egypt, with workshops concentrated in areas such as Fustat (Old Cairo) and Upper Egyptian towns like Qena, known for their centuries-old ceramic traditions.
