A wide street-level view of an old tram station in Heliopolis (Masr el Gedida), where people stand and wait along the platform beside the empty tracks. The scene captures a transitional moment in Cairo’s transport history, with aging apartment buildings, small street shops, and modern cars moving alongside the unused tram lines. The image reflects everyday urban patience and the quiet persistence of infrastructure that once shaped the city’s movement.
