Egyptian fish traders and buyers handle wooden crates loaded with fresh fish and shrimp during a street wholesale auction (halqa) in Ezbet El-Borg, Damietta Governorate. The scene captures the busy open-air fish market where local vendors sort and display catch on wooden trays in a crowded street setting. Ezbet El-Borg is one of Egypt's most prominent fishing and fish-trading communities, located on the Mediterranean coast at the Damietta Nile branch mouth.
